The advancement of technology and the introduction of Internet of
things (IoT) as a source of geospatial data has produced large
volumes of data which now pose grand computing challenges in
managing and manipulating big data. Cloud computing has
emerged as a new computing model to address these computing
challenges not only in the geospatial field but other fields as well.
Nowadays Cloud computing is the cornerstone for digital
transformation. It provides organizations with on-demand data
storage, computing power and various cloud services. This course
will help you develop skills to understand and utilize the cloud to store
GIS Data , host GIS Web Maps and Applications as well as sharing
your work with individuals in your organization and beyond.
